Summer’s sun is slowing seeping through the clouds and the question we must all ask is, “What will I do this summer? How will I make this summer better than the last? Will I let three months of wonderful weather pass me by?”  The answer must be no. If you live in the city and have an inkling of free will or desire to make any day a myriad of magical happenings then follow these steps;

1) Put on your stylish gear

2)Drink a nice big cup of coffee

3) BE OUTSIDE

 It is what this city is made for. Go to a park or to a fair, down on the embarcadero or in union square, just go and live the city. Be the city.

HEADS UP:

This week is a wonderful amalgamation of exclusively San Francisco events which only those who call the city home can truly enjoy. Tonight at The Independent is  The Black Angels featuring The Warlocks. A heavy sould psychadellic rock group from Austin Texas, these guys are why we listen to music, new music, that is. Their sound is new-age combination of Jethro Tull and Black Sabbath with a razorsharp edge, minus the flute (for all those Jethro fans). That is not to say their sound has been heard before, such is not the case. A true novelty of contemporary rock The Black Angels music envokes the saddistic demon inside you while espousing messages of love, reality, and life. Addressing real life issues with rhythms and vibes that open the eyes of audiences as well as the minds of adoring fans. Their sounds cannot be reproduced and on this one magical night, at the independent, their soulful ballots will live forever in the eyes, ears, and hearts or all those fortunate enough to be in attendance.
